FOP - Happy Family

Description

It was a long time since I last sat down and drew a detailed fop drawing. School has gotten the most of me and other fandoms have been tempting to make fanart of as well but here it is folks!

This weekend me and my bro gave each other critique (well at least I tried) and I've come to some conclusions thanks to what he said.
-Stiff shoulders I tent to draw most characters too stiff and I need to study anatomy more

-Shiny dots This isn't the first time I've been told that sometimes my shiny dots tend to get overdone and ends up making their clothes look like rubber and the hair looks like they got dandruff. So I'm going to tone it down quite a lot.

-Clothes I like using the brush tool when I shade clothes (we can see the effect on Timmy's pants) but these days I overdo it and it's been bugging me a lot and it felt great hearing it from someone else. I will probably only use it on certain areas and try to tone it down as much as I can.

It's always great getting critique from my close friends because they notice stuff that some people won't. They've been there the longest and therefore seen most of those tiny flaws nobody else gets the time to catch.

Anyway enjoy the picture bebehs

Okay hon, so I don't feel worthy of critisizing you since I can hardly draw anything. XD But I will try since you said that it helps you. So I agree with what you wrote in the comment box. And I think that there should be more details in the clothes you know? Like folds and such! Their clothes look a little flat. You know, it used to be the same with the hair. In some older drawings it looked all really flat, like in this one: [link] And by now you just add soooo man details in the hair. Your way of improvement is really impressing, hon!!!
